Grown at extreme altitudes of 1,400–1,800 masl, this native Sumatra variety produces coffee beans with exceptional structural density (Ultra High Density reaching 750 g/L). It is a roaster's dream: robust and highly responsive to even heat distribution throughout the roast. Processed through a hygienic Fullwash method, the typical earthy character of Mandailing coffee is cleanly swept away, replaced by high clarity that highlights the fresh notes of Orange, rich sweetness of Palm Sugar, and finishes with an elegant complexity of local Herbs.
