Green Bean l Kerinci Honey Anaerobic 1kg
KERINCI HONEY ANAEROBIC — JAMBI, INDONESIA
The coffee farms of Renah Kayu Embun grow alongside cinnamon trees, along the ridgelines of Sungai Penuh, bordering Kerinci Seblat National Park.
Mist rolls in twice a day here, in the morning and again toward late afternoon. The cool temperatures slow the ripening of coffee cherries, and slowly ripened fruit often develops greater sugar concentration within the beans.
This lot undergoes honey anaerobic processing: the fruit mucilage is left clinging to the beans during drying after the cherries have first been fermented in a sealed, oxygen-free environment.
The resulting flavor direction points toward apricot, nectarine, and blackcurrant tea.
If you are already familiar with Aceh coffee and want to explore a different expression of Sumatra, Kerinci offers one of the most honest comparisons: the same process, different terroir, different results.
Same process. Different soil. A different expression of Sumatra.

Origin, grade, processing method, moisture, density, and defect count.
We inspect, store, and document every lot. Coffee is not magic. Coffee is a process, and processes can be tested.
TRIPLE-PICK QUALITY ASSURANCE
Why Is Our Green Bean Quality More Transparent?
Most marketplace sellers claim Grade 1 quality based on a single pass through a coarse mechanical sorting machine.
At Coffest Roastery, we implement three stages of physical sorting and refinement:
1. Suton Machine
Removes foreign materials such as stones, twigs, dust, broken beans, and residual husks that make it through earlier processing stages.
2. Optical Sorting Machine (SORTEX)
Uses modern optical sensor technology to eject black beans, sour beans, and beans with defects caused by insect damage.
3. Hand Sorting (Manual Pick)
Our expert team performs the final manual inspection to remove fungus-damaged beans and bring the defect count as close to zero as possible.
Drying is carried out using indirect sunlight through a greenhouse-effect technique to preserve optimal flavor potential.
