Kintamani coffee is naturally sweet. The Honey process takes that sweetness one step further: the fruit mucilage is left attached to the beans during drying, allowing its sugars to dry along with the beans. The result is typically a fuller mouthfeel than the washed version. In this lot, the flavor profile shifts toward stone fruit rather than the bright citrus notes found in the Full Wash version.

The farm is located in Belantih, Kintamani, at an altitude of 1,200–1,400 meters above sea level. It features the Kartika and S-795 varieties, grown on the volcanic slopes of Mount Batur. Our assessment points toward plum, mandarin orange, and chocolate.

Uses modern optical sensor technology to eject black beans, sour beans, and beans damaged by insect bites.

3 // Hand Sorting (Manual Picking)

Our expert team performs the final manual inspection to remove fungus-damaged beans and ensure that defects are reduced to nearly zero.

The drying process uses indirect sunlight through a greenhouse system to help preserve the coffee’s optimal flavor characteristics.
